Map the system
I start with the data, the rules and the people inside the product.
Find where it breaks
If logging a correct reading takes longer than skipping it, checks get skipped or written up later from memory.
Make the honest path the easy path
The tablet shows the next check, its limit and the last reading. An in-limit reading logs with one press.
Specify so it ships
Every state, limit and handover is written down, so engineering builds it without guessing.
